Most Las Vegas tourists and locals will want a break from the hustle and nightlife; what better way to escape than visiting an art gallery? In this article, I cover seven art galleries in Las Vegas you can’t miss. From small galleries with unique pieces for collectors, to immersive, family-friendly experiences, you’ll find something you’ll love.

Seven Las Vegas Art Galleries

While there are more galleries than the seven listed below, this article has a spectrum of different kinds of attractions, so there’s something for everyone.

7. The Centaur Art Gallery

The Centaur Art Gallery, “the oldest fine art gallery in Las Vegas,” contains an eclectic collection of fine art, spanning from 16th century pieces, to obscure works by Picasso, to modern sculptures. Located in the strip, the small, but jam-packed gallery is a great place to visit, especially for collectors and aficionados with a range of tastes.

6. Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art

The Bellagio Resort and Casino, by MGM Resorts, is one of the most famous locations on the Las Vegas strip. Known for its awe-inspiring fountains and lavish opulence, the Bellagio has a gallery of fine art, “where art goes on vacation.” You’ll need a ticket to enter, and they rotate exhibitions. Currently, the gallery is showing “American Duet: Jazz.” Check it out if the current exhibit interests you.

  • Address: 3600 S Las Vegas Blvd, 89109 Las Vegas

The Museum of Pop Culture, or MoPOP is a nonprofit museum dedicated to contemporary popular culture. MoPOP is located on the campus of Seattle Center, adjacent to the Space Needle and the Seattle Center Monorail, which runs through the building. The structure itself was designed by Frank Gehry and resembles many of his firm's other works in its sheet-metal construction, such as Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and Gehry Tower.

5. Arte Museum

While technically not a gallery of fine art, this is a must-see event for art enthusiasts. Each piece of art uses a sophisticated digital display with illusions to create overwhelming, jaw-dropping visuals. The experience “immerses visitors in the wonders of nature.” Created by the South Korean digital design company, d’strict, this “gallery” is a must-see for nature and art appreciators. As an artist who evokes the awe of nature, I appreciate the vision of the Arte Museum.

Tickets are around $50. Located on the strip, it will make a peaceful, but breathtaking, addition to your Las Vegas itinerary.

  • Website: Arte Museum
  • 3716 S Las Vegas Blvd. 2nd Floor, Suite 208, Las Vegas, NV 89158
  • Opening times: 10:00am–10:00pm every day (last admission 9:00pm)

4. Spencer Couture Art Gallery

Spencer Couture is an urban pop artist, creating pieces from unorthodox materials with vibrant, eye-catching colors. He specializes in large paintings, but often works on murals or other one-off projects. His gallery in Las Vegas is the highest rated gallery on Google. He’s collaborated with countless celebrities and internet personalities. The aesthetic of the gallery explodes with bright colors and a unique take on contemporary, pop art.

  • Address: 3930 Las Vegas Blvd S #105, Las Vegas, NV 89119
  • Opening times: 10:00am–11:00pm every day

3. DeRubeis Fine Art of Metal, Las Vegas

Chris DeRubeis paints “abstract sensualism.” He solely uses metals as his medium, painting abstract, swirling colors that leap from the sheets. DeRubeis only creates originals, so each rendition is a unique piece of art. As an artist who enjoys printing on metals, I understand the beauty of aluminum and other polished metals.

My landscape photography

I treasure the beautiful landscapes surrounding Las Vegas. Zion and Grand Canyon National Parks are to the East. Yosemite, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Death Valley National Parks are to the West. Red Rock Canyon is located just outside of Las Vegas. These grandeur places are among my favorite to visit and photograph. My landscape art emphasizes the majesty of nature (like the Arte Museum experience), and I try to capture nature with expert excellent composition (like the legendary photographer, Peter Lik).
